“The Bright Light of the Bigueños”
Christmas is the season of giving gifts to your loved ones and expressing your feelings to the people you love. And in the Philippines, in the lovely city of Vigan, is the time for Bigueños and Ilocanos alike to express themselves with the use of their creativity and talent to show their pride and love for being a Filipino even amidst the Pandemic. And so, in this blog, I will be talking about how Bigueños celebrated their bright white Christmas.
In conclusion, even though the Bigueños were greatly affected by the pandemic, they stayed resilient. With the use of technology, they continued on to celebrate all that’s to love about this lovely Holiday without risking their lives by partaking the events in an online setting and hosting competitions in the safety of their homes. And after seeing all that they did to celebrate, I gotta say, they finished of this year with a bang. This is Zuirich, signing off.
